do we forgive or punish?

Hey Guys,

Forgiveness- it means the action or process of forgiving or being forgiven.

Punishment- it means the infliction or imposition of a penalty as retribution for an offence.

It really depends on the reason. For example: someone stole your rubber, however they later returned it to you, as they felt guilty, but when you took a closer look on your rubber, there were pen marks on it that were not present before hand. What do you do? Do you punish them for stealing and vandalising your rubber, and in return you steal theirs? Or do you forgive them because they gave it back to you, and it’s only a few pen marks? Or would you do something else? If so, what?

Let me know in the comments what you think, I would love to have a discussion about it with you all!

Peace Out x

The fact that the person returned it… Makes me feel compassionate.. hs got the punishment alrdy..the guilt.. Forgiving may be possible.. Forgetting may not.. But anyways.. I wouldn’t keep it all tied down to me.. Letting go makes life a hell lot better.. Sometimes i wish to just be happy.. And i try to fgt abt all such negativity.. Not easy.. But not impossible either.
